Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Job Type: Salaried

We are looking for current BCBAs or those who will be sitting for the certification exam within the next 6 months to work as behavior analysts in our clinic and home program. Our clinic and home program at Arise Autism Center serves individuals of all ages that are diagnosed with autism or another developmental disability throughout Seminole county.

Job duties:

  • Conduct initial assessments, functional behavior assessments and skill assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIP)
  • Develop individualized programming to teach appropriate communication and prerequisite skills
  • Conduct parent training
  • Train and supervise behavior technicians on an ongoing basis
  • Collect and analyze client data
  • Make data-based treatment decisions
  • Communicate with parents and technicians on an ongoing basis
  • Provide appropriate documentation for services

Required Skills:

  • BCBA, or eligible within 6 months
  • Certification is in good standing with BACB

Registered Behavior Technician

Job type: Hourly

We are looking for employees that are positive and energetic with a passion for working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Registered behavior technicians in the clinic and home program provide direct services to clients and their families by implementing treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis to improve the client’s quality of life. We serve families in Seminole county.

Job duties:

  • Implement individualized programs for individuals with autism that are based on the principles of ABA to increase communication, daily living skills, social skills, play skills
  • Modify antecedents/triggers in the environment as well as consequences for behaviors to decrease problem behaviors while teaching appropriate alternative behaviors
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to manage inappropriate or problematic behaviors when the occur
  • Consult with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to ensure the highest level of treatment integrity
  • Facility communication between caregivers, behavior analysts, and coworkers
  • Record data on client’s behaviors and progress on a continuous basis
  • Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with clients, families, and coworkers
  • Maintain and respect client confidentiality
